TOPICS ARE ON THE TEST?
THE REASONING THROUGH LANGUAGE ARTS TEST:
1). is 150 minutes
2). consists of 3 sections
3). includes a 10-minutes break between sections 2 and 3
4). includes one essay that you have 45 minutes to write
MEASURES YOUR:
1). ability to read closely, write clearly, and edit and understand written English
2). Ability to understand, interpret, and answer questions based on text
3). Ability to use evidence to support an argument
4). understanding of basic English skills at a level needed to succeed in university/college or a job
THE SOCIAL STUDIES TEST:
1). is 70 minutes
2). allows you to use an on-screen TI-30XS calculator
MEASURES YOUR:
1). knowledge of civics and government (50%), U.S. history (20%), economics (15%), and geography and the world (15%)
2). ability to read, understand, and interpret social studies-related texts
3). problem-solving abilities in social studies-related situations
THE SCIENCE TEST:
1). is 90 minutes
2). has no breaks

1). knowledge of life science (40%), physical science (40%), and Earth and space science (20%)

THE MATHEMATICAL REASONING TEST:
1). is 112 minutes
2). has 2 parts

4). gives you some Math formulas and a calculator reference sheet
